BPUR International is a global campaign to enact an ‘International Treaty to Ban the Political Use of Religion,’ a crucial foundation to disarm extremism and eliminate the abusive mixing of religion and politics worldwide. 

The NGO has a team of influential executives supported by board members, legislative sponsors, an advisory council, and institutional and individual supporters working together to lobby Legislators and officials worldwide to secure formal governmental adoption of the proposed treaty to table it at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), and United Nations General Assembly. 

This peace-making mission has built inclusive official and legislative support in more than 80 countries, especially in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, where it is mainly needed because of its unique considerate approach to ending the cycle of religious conflicts.
