Andre Gasiorowski was awarded the Diploma of Recognition and Medal by Avraham Grinzaid, Chairman of the Union of Veterans of the Second World War – Fighters Against Nazism, for many years of activity and care for members of veterans’ organizations.

The ceremony took place during a special meeting at the Museum Commemorating Jewish Heroism in World War II of the Knesset Aliyah and Absorption Committee chaired by Knesset member Oded Forer, in the presence of Knesset member Zeev Elkin, Rehovot mayor Rahamim Malul, Karin Braginsky, Rehovot City Council member and member Presidium of the Union of World War II Veterans – Fighters Against Nazism.
